BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV) – A 28-year-old man will serve 25 years in prison for a fatal shooting in Bridgeton in 2012.

Ray Hickman was sentenced for first-degree murder and armed criminal action.

Police said officers responded to shots fired in the 4100 block of Stonehart and found the victim lying dead in the street.

Authorities say Hickman shot Kareem Johnson at that location after an argument outside his ex-girlfriend's apartment.
