Fallout from Akin controversy being felt in race for president in Missouri

(KMOV) -- The fallout from the Todd Akin controversy this week is now being felt in the race for President in Missouri.

A new poll now shows that Mitt Romney’s once comfortable lead over President Obama is now gone.

The Rasmussen Poll revealed that President Obama has 47 percent to Romney’s 46 percent.

The poll surveyed 500 likely voters in Missouri on Wednesday and follows a poll that shows Claire McCaskill now leading Todd Akin in the race for Senate.
