ST. LOUIS COUNTY ( -- The Missouri Department of Insurance says it's getting reports that an insurance broker continued to sell home and auto policies, without a license.

Wendi Glass had her license revoked last September.  Disciplinary documents, made public by the Missouri Department of Insurance, show that two customers complained about Glass.  Glass was accused of selling the customers home insurance policies without securing an insurer to provide the coverage.

Since then, the state says it has received reports that Glass continued to sell policies, illegally.

St. Louis County Police arrested glass on May 1st on forgery and theft charges.  Glass was arrested again in June on a forgery charge.

Travis Ford with the Missouri Department of Insurance says its not clear how many customers are holding worthless policies.

"They might have a theft, fire, or car accident and file a claim and find out that they have no insurance coverage at all," said Ford.

Glass operated a business called Versatile Management Group, Inc or VMG at 3836 Parker Road in Florissant.  Thursday, no one was at the office, but a sign for VMG was on the door.  A business phone number was disconnected.

St. Louis County Police confirmed that officers served a search warrant at that address on Thursday morning.  It's not clear if the warrant was served as part of an insurance investigation.  No other details were available on Thursday.

Documents filed with the Secretary of State in 2009, also list an address for VMG at 13076 New Halls Ferry Road - which is around the corner.  That store front was vacant on Thursday.

Ford says customers who have done business with Glass need to check their policies, carefully.  Contact the insurance company listed on the policy to find out if a policy exists.
