ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A man was hospitalized following a drive-by shooting in north St. Louis early Wednesday morning.
The 25-year-old victim told authorities he was standing outside in the 700 block of North Euclid around 1 a.m. when someone drove up and fired several shots, striking the victim in the ankle and leg.
The suspect's vehicle then sped away.
The victim was taken to the hospital by a friend. Authorities said he is listed in stable condition.
Police are looking for the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting. The victim told police the suspect vehicle was a four-door black Pontiac.
No further descriptionwas provided to authorities.
Vehicles parked along the street also had windows broken after being struck by stray bullets.
Police said they marked at least 15 bullet casings at the scene.
