ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 3-story home was damaged during a Monday morning fire in north St. Louis.
Crews responded to the 4200 block of McPherson Avenue around 2:40 a.m. in reference to the fire.
When firefighters arrived, they reported heavy smoke coming from the top floor of the residence. Fire officials did not say how much damage the home sustained, but report most of the damage was contained to the top floor and the roof area.
At this time, the cause of the fire is under investigation. There’s no word if anyone lived in the home or was at home when the fire started.
