ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) – Police responded to a shooting call Thursday night and found a man had barricaded himself in a home in Beverly Hills, Missouri.
According to reports, the shooting happened around 9 a.m. in the 7200 block of St. Andrews.
Apparently, the suspect, who authorities said appeared to be a teenage male, barricaded himself in a home after firing shots.
When officer arrived on the scene, they found unresponsive man who had been shot. He was later pronounced dead a the scene and was identified by police as Robert H. Moore III, 22.
A tactical team assembled after the suspect refused to yield to police orders. He surrendered just after 11 p.m.
Authorities said they believe the victim and suspect were related.
The suspect's name is not being released pending formal charges.
