ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Police Department is pushing back the date for its move to a new headquarters.

Police Chief Dan Isom says the projected move-in date is now around the middle of 2014. Police originally hoped to move from the current location at Clark and Tucker to the new one at 1915 Olive St. by next spring.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that a disagreement over the bidding process delayed the project. The department now hopes to bid the work by October and get proposals back by December.
