ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – An apartment building in south St. Louis was severely damaged after a fire started inside Thursday morning.
According to fire officials, crews were called to the intersection of Tower Grove and Arco avenues around 4:30 a.m.
Captain Sutter with the St. Louis Fire Department said the 3-unit building was vacant and the fire started in one of the first floor units. That unit suffered the most damage.
Officials said firefighters were able to get the fire out by 5 a.m. and no injuries were reported.
The cause is still under investigation.
