ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A 19-year-old man was charged Monday after allegedly firing a weapon at police during a chase that began in Pine Lawn on Friday.
The suspect, Roy Reynolds, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, armed criminal action, illegal weapon possession and resisting arrest. He’s being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
Three other suspects were arrested on Friday after the car chase that started in Pine Lawn led to a shootout with police Friday night in north St. Louis.
According to officials, the chase started in the 2500 block of Arden in Pine Lawn when police sat a suspicious car and tried to stop it, but the car took off. The officer pursued the car into the city.
The car stopped when it ran off the road at Cote Brilliante and Hodiamont. Four suspects fled on foot. One of the suspects shot at the officer, who then returned the fire. No one was hit.
