GOODFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Illinois State Police now say two people were injured in a central Illinois accident that left the roadway covered with chocolate cake and cinnamon rolls.
Two semitrailer trucks collided on westbound Interstate 74 early Thursday. One of the trucks was carrying frozen food.
Both truck drivers were transported to a Peoria hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic has been rerouted off of the highway at the Goodfield exit as crews clear food from the roadway.
Police say troopers were initially told that burritos were among the food on the roadway, but they later determined that was wrong.
The crash remains under investigation.
