CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (KMOV) -- Mercy Hospital announced Wednesday a $2.4 billion investment to build a new virtual care center in the Chesterfield area within the next 8 years.
The plan includes a hospital and four outpatient centers in St. Charles. This expansion will add up to 400 new jobs.
The virtual care center coming to Chesterfield will be the first of its kind in the country. It will allow doctors and nurses to use state-of-the-art technology to treat patients at Mercy Hospitals across the Midwest.
