(KMOV) - City Officials tell News 4 illegal dumping continues to be a problem throughout the city of St. Louis.

Witnesses say they saw a truck pull up in front of a south city house around 8:30 Tuesday morning and dump a pile of large, semi-truck tires in the backyard.

City Officials say it will cost around $400 dollars to haul them away.  Usually it's the responsibility of the property owner.

135 cameras are up in different neighborhoods all over the city.  If caught dumping illegally, you could go to jail.
