(KMOV) -- Firefighters in North St. Louis City worked to contain a fire that broke out early Tuesday morning.
The fire ignited just after 2:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of Lee, which is north of Fairgrounds Park in north St. Louis.
The fire broke out in the middle of a residential area. Firefighters reported there were propane tanks near the residence so they had to act quickly. Crews managed to contain the fire and prevented it from spreading to other homes or nearby businesses.
No injuries were reported. Fire officials did not say if they know how the fire started. More information is expected to be released after an investigation.
