The Cardinals and Brewers don't like each other. They REALLY don't like each other. I have to think some of those feelings will spill over into the NLCS.
The Cardinals should just focus on baseball and let the Brewers do all the talking via their mouths or on Twitter. The Cardinals are the hottest team in baseball hands down.
They should let their play do the talking. A World Series championship would more than validate that approach.
For my money, Nyjer Morgan is the most classless player in the game. He's not cute or funny or entertaining. He's an embarrassment to the Brewers and the game. Lest anyone think the I'm being a homer here--I know the Cardinals irritate the heck out of other teams.
I know most outside St. Louis believe that Tony La Russa is arrogant and pompous. He's earned that reputation. But at the end of the day, the Cardinals play the right way and respect the game. And there's no way Morgan's act would fly with La Russa in charge.
It would be nice to see an "old school" team prevail in the NLCS.
