Man found dead in North County home, police investigating case as homicide

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Police are searching for leads after a man in his late 40s was found dead Thursday morning in a home in the 10500 block of Langford in north St. Louis County. Officials say they are calling this a suspicious death.

Police say a co-worker of the deceased man reported that the victim had not showed up for work, and after going to his home, believed the man was inside but not the man in the home. Police believe the man is the homeowner.
 The victim has been identified as Charles L. Harris, III, 50.

Harris was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determined Harris died from a gunshot wound. 

No suspect has been identified or taken into custody.
