Jackson has a 3.58 ERA since being traded to the Cardinals in July.

The right hander was thought to have possibly been available to come out of the bullpen for the first two games of the series against the Phillies.

The Phillies have tabbed Roy Oswalt to start.  Oswalt is 9-10 with a 3.69 ERA.

Game time is set for 5:07 CT on Wednesday at Busch Stadium.
