If there is one thing I've learned these last 4 weeks about being a mom, it's that time is hard to come by. When I left for maternity leave, I had every intention of faithfully blogging from home, but I had no idea how much of my time would be dominated by my little boy. Everytime I sit down to blog, Jude has other plans. I kid you not...even as I'm typing this, Jude is starting to wake up, which means it's almost time for him to eat...again! So, I better keep this short:
Jude got to experience his first Halloween. It was lots of fun! Jude dressed up as a pumpkin. We went to a fall festival at our church on Wednesday. He wore his costume and slept through the whole thing. But it was fun for my husband and I to push him around in the stroller and watch everyone ooh and ahh over him.
Then on Saturday we went to a Halloween party at a co-worker's house. This was the first time I had seen my co-workers since I had Jude and this was their first chance to meet him. We had a great time, until the little pumpkin decided he was ready to go and started throwing a huge fit. He is the new boss in our home.
We had a great first Halloween, but I have a feeling next year will be even more fun! By then Jude may have a better appreciation for costumes and candy.
