In case you missed it, my son Jude was on TV yesterday! He made a special guest appearance on Great Day St. Louis here on Channel 4. He did surprisingly well! I was so afraid that he was going to puke on someone or decide that it was potty time while the cameras were rolling, or start crying uncontrollably, but he didn't. He didn't even fuss. What a good baby! He was on his best behavior!
Here's the clip from the show where Jude sat host Stephanie Simmons' lap: Jude sitting with Stephanie
The other kids in the clip are my friend Holly's kids Caden and Cara and Matt Chamber's little boy Isaac was a "guest host" of the show for the day. It was so much fun being with all the babies. They were all really good.
The show on Wednesday was all about babies and parenting. My friend Holly and I were on the show to demonstrate making your own baby food. It was a lot of fun. Here's the clip of Holly and I making baby food with Matt Chambers. Making baby food
At the end our husband's and Matt's wife came in with the kids for a little taste test.
Making your own baby food is surprisingly easy. It is waaaay cheaper than buying jars of baby food and it is healthier because when you make it yourself you skip all of the preservatives and you can buy organic products to make the food even healthier. My fellow mommy friend Ashley and I are getting together this Sunday to make a whole bunch. It should be fun. I'll be sure to blog about it and let you know how it goes.
