JCI (Junior Chamber International) Metro is a community of young active citizens ages 18-40 in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, who seek targeted, sustainable solutions to community problems. They share the belief that in order to create positive change, we must take collective action to improve ourselves and the world around us. Their mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people in the St. Louis Metropolitan community to create positive change.
Here's on way to get involved, go to their open house! It's Thursday September 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the JCI World Headquarters, 15645 Olive Blvd. in Chesterfield MO. Find out how JCI members believe in taking responsibility for the improvement of our communities and ourselves and how they make a global impact. Silent auction will feature original artwork, restaurant and beauty gift certificates and much more. Free and open to the public. Appetizers and wine included. They also have the St. Louis Socially Responsible Business Forum coming up on Saturday, September 26 at the JCI World Headquarters as well. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., Forum 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Reception following. Free and open to the public.
Their next meeting is Monday October 5, 5:30pm at the JCI World Headquarters. All young adults who believe in taking responsibility and engaging in the community are welcome! We are a platform for young people with big ideas for making a difference. JCI members create their own directives and develop their own programs to address the issues that matter to them.
