Well, it was only a matter of time before this would happen.

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich plans to write a book. It's often said that writers ... especially new writers ... should pen scripts about something they know. To that extent, Blagojevich's book will supposedly expose " the dark side of politics".

That's the phrase his publicist, Glenn Selig, used.

The Associated Press quotes Selig as saying the book will tell the truth about what happened and will reveal information "that at times will be embarrassing to himself as well as to others."

Supposedly, the book will detail how Blagojevich selected President Barack Obama's successor in the U.S. Senate.

So, will the book give us juicy details of a senate seat for sale? Will it take us behind the scenes for some other "deals"? Will it give prosecutors ammunition in trying to convict Blagojevich of crimes? Will it be ala O.J. Simpson ... IF I HAD DONE IT?

So many questions to be answered, and we have to wait until October when the book should be released by Phoenix Books.

Or you do already have an idea what Blagojevich will or will not discuss?

Glenn Selig says Blagojevich signed a 6-figure deal. Let me see .. depending on where the decimal falls ... are we taking about $100,000.00 or $1,000.00?

Either way, will it be worth our money? Or should we simply read the quotes picked up by news reports and not spend a dime on the book?

Of course, you could wait for the movie. That stirs more debate ... who would play Blagojevich ... and his hair?
