Fenton man hit by ambulance after robbing bank faces charges

FENTON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 27-year-old Fenton man who was hit by an ambulance on Interstate 44 after allegedly robbing a bank two days earlier has been charged.

Warrants were issued Wednesday against Joseph L. Haring for second-degree robbery and resisting arrest.

Police said Haring robbed the Reliance Bank in the 1000 block of South Highway Drive on August 29.

Haring was crossing I-44 near Interstate 270 in Sunset Hills, Missouri two days later when he was hit by an ambulance.

Haring was taken into police custody after being released from the hospitali. He is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
