ST. PETERS (KMOV.com) – St. Peters police are warning parents to be vigilant following an incident that happened Sunday evening in a suburban neighborhood.

According to authorities, two 11-year-old girls were walking in the Tanglewood subdivision around 6:45 p.m. on Sunday when they saw a man go into the trunk of his car and retrieve a Frisbee.

He threw the Frisbee at the girls, and when one said she didn’t know how to throw it back he said he would teach her.

The man approached the girls and positioned himself behind the girl who said she didn’t know how to throw the Frisbee. She says he put his hands on her waist. Frightened, the girls ran away.

The incident was reported on Monday and police are preaching caution until they can determine what happened.

The girls describe the suspect as being in his mid-50s, balding with grey hair. He is of average height and weight, and reportedly walks with a limp. They describe his car as a brown boxy sedan.

The incident occurred on Driftwood Lane between Lemonwood Drive and Millwood Street.

Anyone that has information on this case should contact the St. Peters Police Department immediately.
