GRANITE CITY, Il. (KMOV.com) – A woman and her boyfriend face aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing, a felony, after authorities discovered a meth lab at their Granite City residence on Friday.
Deliah Shepherd, 35, and James Hollins, 37, were taken into custody after authorities investigated a possible meth lab at their residence in the 2100 block of Robert Avenue. Numerous methamphetamine manufacturing materials as well as an active methamphetamine cook were seized from the scene.
Three children and an adult were located in the home during the investigation. The children were released to family members at the direction of the Department of Children and Family Services. The adult was not involved in the production of the methamphetamine and was released after the investigation.
Shepherd and Hollins, who were away from the home at the time of the investigation, were later apprehended.
Bond was set at $100,000 for Shepherd and Hollins.
