ST. LOUIS (BaseballSTL) – If you’re heading to Busch Stadium Friday night to watch the Cardinals take on the Milwaukee Brewers, you could run into some severe thunderstorms.
“I’m thinking small isolated storms for the Metro from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., but I’m watching 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. now for a line of more widespread and possibly severe storms to develop on or near St. Louis,” said News 4 Meteorologist Steve Templeton. “Some scattered rain could linger into the late evening.”
Templeton said while downtown St. Louis is in the risk area, there is a higher chance of storms southeast of the Metro area.
“About 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the isolated storms form into a line and move southeast. Hopefully (it will be) out of the area quickly with so many activities like high school football games, the art festival and a Cards game going on.”
