ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A person who was shot by police near Carondelet Park on Wednesday has died.
Police said Myron Pollard, 18, was pronounced dead Thursday morning around 2 a.m.
Authorities said the incident happened while ATF agents and police were investigating three robbery suspects in the 6100 block of South Grand around 11:15 a.m.
According to police, officers were trying to apprehend the suspects when they tried running over an ATF agent with their vehicle.
The agent fired multiple shots into the suspects’ vehicle, striking Pollard and another suspect.
All three suspects were transported to the hospital, where Pollard later died.
No ATF agents or police officers were injured, according to authorities.
Police said they recovered three guns at the scene.
