BRIDGETON, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Some residents in Bridgeton, Missouri are being evacuated due to a gas leak that happened Tuesday morning.
Fire officials said they got the call to respond to the 12,000 block of Beaverton Drive just after 10 a.m. in reference to the leak.
A representative with the North Central Fire Department said residents were being evacuated. News 4 made calls to several residents about the incident. One person said a firefighter knocked on their door to let them know what was going on, but told them they did not have to leave their home.
At this time, the cause of the leak is unknown.
