ST. CLAIR, Mo. (AP) -- Medical examiners are trying to determine the cause of death for a 43-year-old New Hampshire man whose body was found along an exit ramp in eastern Missouri.
The victim's name and hometown have not been released.
St. Clair officers received a call just before 5 a.m. Thursday about a man lying next to a parked semi-trailer on an Interstate 44 exit ramp, about 40 miles southwest of St. Louis. The Washington Missourian reports that officers determined the man was dead but did not observe any obvious injuries.
Police Chief Bill Hammack says the man may have been making repairs to the vehicle prior to his death.
