ST. LOUIS (FootballStL) -- The Rams have been rumored to be a team that could be on the move to possibly either Los Angeles or London; that is if the team and the CVC can’t reach an agreement on stadium upgrades. While Los Angeles already had a football team, London has not.
So could an NFL team survive in London? After recently traveling to London, Rams star running back Steven Jackson thinks it can. Jackson posted the following reason on his blog, SJ39.com:
“They have 13 million people in that city who would support a franchise. They're very enthusiastic about the game and they want to know more about it. I think there are a lot of positives to take from the excitement every time we go there that show us they can support a team.”
With that being said, Jackson never stated whether he would want to play in London -- and let’s hope he doesn’t for the St. Louis fans’ sake.
