ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot at his homein north St. Louis early Thursday.
According to police, a 47-year-old man walked out of his home in the 4100 block of Green Lea Place around 3:50 a.m. and heard a loud popping noise.
Police said the victim immediately felt pain in his right arm and realized he had been shot.
He was transported to the hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Both the victim and a witness told police they did not who fired the shot.
Police continue to search for a suspect.
