(KMOV.com) – A warehouse near Union Station is going to be converted into apartments.
A company plans to convert an old warehouse in the 1900 block of Pine that was used to dry tobacco leaves into an apartment building, which will be known as Station Plaza. The project is expected to cost $10.5 million, and will be funded partially through state and low income housing tax credits. Those tax credits are being used to offer below market rents.
Construction is slated to begin later in January.
