ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- A Wheaton, Ill., man has been charged with 3rd degree assault after an incident at the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department headquarters at 1900 Olive Street on Jan. 1.
Police say that a female victim was assigned to the lobby as security and was attemping to lock the front doors when Daniel Aguilar, 31, grabbed the victim's arm with force that it turned her body away from the door. The defendant then grabbed her shoulder to hold her back from the door so she would be unable to lock it.
Aguilar was previously arrested on Nov. 25, 2014 in the City of St. Louis for Failure to Disperse and was issued a citation. At that time, Aguilar gave an address in New York, New York.
