VENICE, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Authorities are searching for two suspects who fatally shot a man during a home invasion Monday night in Venice, Illinois.

Police say 41-year-old Calvin Talley was shot after two masked men forced their way into his home in the 1200 block of Oriole around 10:30 p.m.

Police say the suspects, who were covered-to-toe in clothes demanded money from the man before shooting him.  

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No other details were available.
