ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Authorities have located a man who fled an accident scene after a truck crashed into a parked car in North City Tuesday morning.

Police say the man had noticeable injuries after the black pickup truck he was in crashed in the 4100 block of Euclid Avenue around 12:35 a.m. Police say the truck was found abandoned at the accident scene.

Authorities were in the area after they received a call for “shots fired.”

The man told police he was not driving the vehicle when the accident occurred.
