ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A Winter Weather Advisory began at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday morning and will last until 2:00 p.m. for the eastern portion of the News 4 viewing area.
4Warn Meteorologist Kent Ehrhardt said light rain was falling from downtown St. Louis to the east early Wednesday morning. He said the southern portion of the viewing area was experiencing a wintery mix of weather that was transforming into rain as it moved eastward.
Ehrhardt said a majority of the area had temperatures near 40 Wednesday morning.
According to Ehrhardt, most of the rain and snow will be out of the area by noon but there is a possibility of light snow in the afternoon.
