ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- The Missouri Court of Appeals on Tuesday reversed a robbery conviction - and ordered a new trial - for Cornell McKay.
McKay was convicted of robbing a woman of her cell phone in 2012, but he has proclaimed his innocence. McKay was sentenced to 12 years in prison earlier in 2014.
McKay's lawyers said they will prove the crime was actually committed by the man convicted of killing SLU volleyball player Megan Boken, Keith Esters.
