O’FALLON, Ill. (KMOV.com) – Authorities said they have received numerous reports of packages being stolen off of front doorsteps in O’Fallon, Illinois.
Police say packages were stolen from at least three homes on Saturday or Sunday.
To prevent the theft from occurring, UPS recommends someone receiving a package notify the company to deliver the parcel to the backdoor or require a signature for it to be dropped off. The company also recommends having a parcel delivered to work if you know you won’t be home.
The thefts in O’Fallon come days after two women were taken into custody for stealing packages in the 400 block of North Taylor in Kirkwood, Missouri.
