ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis Police vehicle flipped onto its roof in downtown St. Louis early Monday morning.

The police SUV was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe and flipped at 2:07 a.m. at the intersection of Tucker and Locust. Authorities say the 30-year-old driver of Tahoe ran a red light at Tucker and struck the rear of the police vehicle causing it to spin out of control and roll over.

Authorities say the officer sustained a minor injury.

The driver of the Tahoe taken into custody at the scene for driving on a revoked license.
