ROXANA, Il.- According to the Roxana Police Department thieves broke into multiple cars at the Phillips 66 Oil Refinery.
In early November, four cars were broken into. This week, ten more were hit.
"I have valuable things in my car and it just scares me a lot," said Megan Ellis.
More than 1100 people work at the refinery.
"The number of cars that are out there were able to conceal themselves enough and founds vehicles either unlocked or they were able to get into and really took advantage of these people," said Chief William Cunningham of the Roxana Police Department.
The search is on for those responsible for the break-ins, as thieves escaped with money and electronics from the vehicles.
