(KMOV.com) –Three people are facing charges in two separate cases where infants died in St. Clair County.
26-year-old Ashlee Bridger and 20-year-old Darius Pierce, both of Swansea, face felony child endangerment charges. One of them allegedly rolled over an infant child while in bed. Police believe both parents were under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
Warrants have been issued for Bridger and Pierce, their bond has been set at $15,000.
26-year-old Jerome Lockette of St. Louis has been arrested and charged. Police allege he was on drugs when he crashed his car Friday in Brooklyn, Illinois. Two women, one of whom was pregnant, were seriously injured in the accident. Authorities said the woman lost her unborn child.
Lockette has been arrested and is being held on $400,000 bond. He may face more charges.
