Man suspected of using hammer to steal jewelry caught on surveillance

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are working to determine the identity of a man accused of robbing the Cash American Pawn on Telegraph Road. 

Police said the man walked into the store on December 10 around 5:45 p.m. and used a hammer to break the glass of the jewelry case.  He then took an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
 
Before leaving the store, the suspect allegedly threatened the store employee. 
 
The suspect was described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5’9” tall, 150-160 lbs., clean shaven, wearing a black baseball cap, white hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
