CHICAGO (AP) -- Illinois voters can now cast their early ballots for next month’s election.
Early voting starts Monday at locations statewide. It ends Nov. 3.
Voters can cast ballots for the presidential election, state legislative contests and the U.S. House.
Cook County Clerk David Orr and Chicago Board of Elections Chairman Langdon Neal say they’ll vote Monday during an event at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago.
Election officials say about 7.4 million people in Illinois are registered to vote.
The Illinois Board of Elections says that the last day of absentee voting is Nov. 1.
