ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police in south St. Louis are looking for the vandal or vandals who have caused damage to at least three vehicles.
Authorities said all incidents happened days apart and just blocks from each other. The first happened on October 12th or 13th between 9:45 p.m. and 9:45 a.m. in the 7000 block of Winona Avenue. There, police say a rock was thrown through the front windshield of a resident’s SUV.
Between midnight and 11 a.m. on October 13th, police said a brick was thrown through the windshield of a resident’s car in the 3700 block of McCausland Avenue.
The last incident happened in the 7000 block of Sutherland Avenue between 11 p.m. on October 13th and 10:45 a.m. on the 14th. The rear window of an SUV was found shattered and a brick inside the rear of the vehicle.
In all instances, authorities said the victims did not report anything missing from their vehicles.
So far, police have not named any suspects in the case. The motive for the crimes is also unknown.
