ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Red Cross officials were helping a family displaced after a fire broke out at a home in north St. Louis on Tuesday.
According to police, no one was home when the fire started on the third floor of the family’s house in the 2940 block of Hebert around 11:35 a.m.
Firefighters said they got the fire out within 20 minutes. The home sustained extensive damage.
A spokesman with Red Cross said the agency was providing the family with resources.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
