ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) - Wireless companies say they are doing what they can to boost coverage at Busch Stadium.
Last season, people complained about having a tough time sending and receiving both pictures and texts in and around Busch Stadium.
Verizon already has a temporary tower set up outside Busch Stadium. The company says the tower provides 4-G coverage.
"Nothing is more frustrating than you watching the action, you're videoing the runner coming home," said Verizon's Shawn Fields. "You try to send the video and you've got no data signal. this is going to alleviate that."
AT&T says it has worked on its system at Busch Stadium for a year, adding 400 new towers to increase capacity.
"With the 400 systems inside the antennas, it basically will focus on the people in these seats here versus these seats over here. It depends on how much data is going on in your section. That will determine what your speeds might look like, but it will an improvement over what they've seen in the past," said AT&T's Nancy Garvey.
