ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police investigated reports of a gunshot during a local high school football game Friday night, but now say no shot was ever fired.
The Gateway Institute of Technology was hosting Soldan High School when a fight broke out around 9 p.m. An officer on the scene told News 4 two girls were involved in the fight.
Earlier, a witness reported that a group of teens got into a fight and that one boy was knocked unconscious, after which a shot was fired into the air. Police now say no guns were involved in the fight.
There were no reports of serious injuries on the scene. Police are still investigating the fight, and say they have two juveniles in custody.
