What will happen to the failed Crestwood mall?

CRESTWOOD, Mo (KMOV.com) -- Crestwood aldermen rejected a $26 million tax increment that would go to transform the mall into a town-center style development.

According to KMOX radio, the aldermen weren’t comfortable approving the TIF without a single tenant signed to the deal.

Currently, Crestwood court is a ghost town but Centrum Developing owns it and plans to turn it into an open air district.

It would include restaurants, a movie theater, a grocery store, a gym, and some shopping.
