ST. LOUIS (KMOV) -- Popular apparel-maker The North Face will face off against "The South Butt" -- a company started by a St. Louis college student -- in court on Monday.
The North Face Apparel Corp. has filed contempt charges against the parody clothing line, created by Jimmy Winkelmann in 2007. Winkelmann has said he started The South Butt partly to help pay for college.
Last year, the two companies settled under the condition that Winkelmann stop selling clothes with The South Butt logo. The North Face now alleges he is contempt of the settlement.
Winkelmann currently attends medical school at the University of Missouri.
