ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOV.com) -- St. Louis County police on Tuesday held a town hall meeting and safety seminar at Parkway North High School.
The meeting came after a woman was raped near the school.
The woman was attacked in September on Fee Fee Road.
Police believe that the woman was targeted by a man responsible for more sex crimes around the country. St. Louis County police want to make sure residents to feel safe in their neighborhoods.
“When something like this happens there are a lot of questions and answers that need to be put out there,” said Officer Randy Vaughn of the St. Louis County Police. “That’s what we’re hoping to do. We’re hoping to make them feel like they are secure and explain to them why they should feel secure.”
