Two more Rams out for the year

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The St. Louis Rams have lost two more players to injury, with cornerback Quincy Butler sidelined by a left knee sprain combined with a high ankle sprain and tight end Daniel Fells out with a fractured right thigh bone.

The Rams on Monday placed Fells on injured reserve, but Butler also is doubtful for the remaining two games.

The Rams have 12 players on injured reserve and have two others, quarterback Marc Bulger and offensive tackle Jason Smith, who are highly unlikely to play again this season.

Bulger has missed four games with a fractured left shin bone and coach Steve Spagnuolo said he'll slowly try to work his way off crutches this week. Smith has missed four games with a concussion.

Defensive end Leonard Little missed Sunday's loss to the Texans with a knee infection and his timetable for a return is unclear.
