COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- Missouri senior guard J.T. Tiller has been suspended for one game after an early morning arrest over an unpaid speeding ticket.
Columbia police arrested Tiller around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on a warrant for failing to appear in court in the St. Louis suburb of Foristell. He subsequently paid a $185 fine.
Coach Mike Anderson told the Columbia Daily Tribune that the team captain will sit out Saturday's home game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Tiller's discipline follows a one-week suspension of the two leading scorers on Missouri's women's basketball team after an off-campus fight that left a male Tiger cheerleader with a broken nose.
